14 months 4-27-12:

We are officially and I say officially helmet free! Yes that is correct 5 long months of strange looks, questions, double takes, children asking their mommy's why is she wearing that are now in our past. So what does this mama do in celebration? I went and bought more bows. My sweet baby girl can now be a baby girl without that awful ugly thing on her head. I started to leave it with the Hanger orthotics but decided maybe for some strange reason I should keep it. Yes I'm keeping the purple helmet that made me cry when I saw my baby girl for the first time. It's all in our past now.

We went back in time to the early days of blow outs, back blasters, and shit, shit, and more shit. Shit on us, shit on high chairs, floors, car seats, just everywhere. We are talking 5-6 shit diapers a day. So with my eyeballs up to shit I called the doc and we are now testing out a lactose free diet. Hopefully this will eliminate this shitty problem.

Blake is loving beans, tofu, peas and her mama. She now crawls around and looks like a helpless little puppy as she reaches her arms up and screams for her mama. A month ago we had indirect mama's but now they seem to be directed or at least that's what I would like to believe. She is standing up and likes to make us her little jungle gym. We are working on her ability to understand that when she falls it can hurt. Hopefully we will not have to go through to many falls before she realizes the helmet is not there. She loves the stairs as well; I heard her giggling to herself  because she had made her way through my barricade and was half way up. She was so proud of her accomplishment.

Dax man loves anything protein, sometimes peas, tofu, and carrots. He crawls all over the place and loves to get into anything that opens. He loves to empty drawers or clear the coffee table. Something about that mess he just loves. Once one mess is complete he is off to the next place of destruction. He especially loves music and will dance to the beat. I know everyone says their baby loves music but this child especially loves music.

We celebrated their first birthday party on the 22nd. They ripped into their cake and loved every bit of it. We attended two additional birthday parties both for the Aiden's. And last but not least we walked in the March of Dimes walk. Overall it was a great experience and very rewarding. Thank you to all that supported it. As the Ambassador family we gave an opening speech and led the walk. The kids did great. Pics this month were a little non existent. At the birthday party I had my lens in manual and could not figure out why it was so blurry for the life of me till it was to late.

Ut oh busted
