10-25-13--7 Months

"Silly baby that's not food...."

Common phrases in our home:
Silly baby that's not food, No Paige don't eat it, Mom Paige is eating my hair, Owie no Paige don't touch me...obviously we have a teething baby in our house and Blake and Dax find it necessary to point out everything.

Paige is sitting up, rolling over and working on her crawling. She's almost there and I keep telling Blake and Dax to make sure not to let her play with little toys so they always take her toys away from her say she might choke. She is such a joy to be around and just giggles, smiles, coos, and throws out the best smile.

"Mom Dax hurt me, Owie!, (What happened?) Dax touched me" Are you dying? No" This is the number one phrase daily and then there is this one. Mooooom I don't like that one, no that one, not that one. Do you want the red or the blue socks? Red (start putting on the red) Nooooo I want the blue ones" Life of two 2 year olds who feed off of everything. My personal favorite: "Mom I want Starbucks!" (a true sign of our coffee times) So with all of the fuss/stress we decided to take a weekly parenting class called Love and Logic. It teaches parents how to solve the problems of toddler behavior and understand our little ones better. I highly recommend it and I do feel like it has helped with some of the issues however if we could make Dax man sleep past 5AM and not wake our entire house up I would be greatly appreciative of any parenting advise out there.

This is my favorite time of the year as I do love Halloween and the weather that comes along with October. This month was extra special because we baptized all three children. They did wonderful and overall it was great day. Blake was a cupcake girl and Dax chose spiderman. Paige was our little ladybug. We went to the Trails Fall Festival, had costume parties at ballet, school, and Halloween trick or treating where Kenny Powers made an appearance (he had time off from his tv show where he is a super star)

What's wrong with this pic? (I'm the tame one, however KP is my creation)

And the ladybug slept through it all....

The children's baptism, what a special day it was for our family. All three did not cry in addition we committed ourselves to raise them in a home where they will know God.

Showing off their pumpkins we made. Notice I told them to make silly faces then I told them they would get treats for smiles and you will see a difference in the photos. Never fails a little bribery goes a long way.

6 months 9-25-13

6 Months already!!!!

We are sitting up, rolling over, laughing, eating rice cereal, peas, and sweet potatoes...yay! She has a ticklish spot on her neck and will laugh out loud when you tickle her. Shortly after the Miley Cyrus twerking at the MTV music awards Dax got his foam finger out and began making his sister giggle like no tomorrow.

B and D now love Paw Patrol, Bubble Guppies, and Dora the Explorer. They love it so much and it has become a great bribing tool when necessary. Fighting with each other is still the norm so I have learned no matter what buy two even if it's a boy or girl toy who gives a damn.
Blake started ballet at Massey's and Dax started gymnastics at Bart Conners. They both love their classes and will tell one another what they did in their class. At BCG it's a mommy and me and let me tell ya, it's hot. I get a work out myself chasing and playing but feel it's great bonding time. Ballet on the other hand is more of a relaxing time for all the mom's to hang out and chat.

Ballet at Massey's Blake gets so excited each week for ballet.

Dax hanging on the bars at gymnastics. He loves it way more than mama. The germ phobe in me has a hard time with everything including the dust flying in the air for the allergies.

Paige now weighs 14 pounds 11 ounces in the 20%, length is 25 1/2 inches in the 28% and her head is now 16 inches in the 9%. She loves to grab things, roll over, sit up, and is a complete joy to be around. You can see her spirit in the following pics, she's just a free spirit who goes along with the flow. She loves her big sis and big brother. Dax is so kind and loving towards his little sister. He loves to hug and kiss on her. Blake likes to make her laugh by doing silly faces at her. She's not much of a lover on her sister but when she feels like it she will share her toys with her.

5 Months New 8/25/2013

I say to myself Paige is the easiest baby ever! The time is flying by and I feel like the time went by slowly with B and D because they were so sick and always crying. I just didn't know what it was like to have it be easy. I do say that with a grain of salt because now that they are 2 and into everything; a whole new hard. Paige on the other hand is not a good night sleeper where they were cake. We finally got serious about the Sleep Solution book and she has gotten better but we are not 100% sleeping through the night just yet.

Paige is working so hard at sitting up, rolling over, and loves to look around. We are about to start the rice cereal as it appears she is starting to show some interest in our food.

Blake and Dax started their new school. They just love it and every morning at home when I ask what they would like to do they say go to school. Always a good sign. Illness of course has picked back up in our household since they are now in kid contact or germ contact.

We took our 4 month shots with Angel so I had to try out my watermelon prior to the shoot. I think my little model was simply adorable. She loved the taste of watermelon too.

First day of school at Trinity. They love their class and it amazes me each time I pick up and drop off. At pick up they put their books away without encouragement.

Playing at the park is one of their favorite things to do as well as ride their cars, bikes, and play in the sandbox.

I love to put my toes in my mouth
