11, 12, and 13 months

I've been bad about updating this blog so here's my attempt to save it and continue. We celebrated Blake and Dax's 3rd birthday, Paige's 1st birthday, went to the zoo twice during spring break, went to the circus, went to Mexico for much needed vacay.

Zoo fun with our friends: We went twice during spring break when it was cool out. The kids had a blast and were able to see lots of animals.

Paige's First Birthday: We celebrated this most amazing little girls first year with our immediate family. Paige loved her very own pink car. All the big kids tried to take it from her but she knew it was hers and was not having any of it. You can see her excitement in the below pic. She currently weighs 18.8 lbs, 26.5 inches, and has 8 teeth. She's in the .45% in height and is a petite little thing. She loves splashing in the tub, playing peek a boo, her blankie, stroller rides, and playing with Blake and Dax. She is taking a few steps, says mama, dada, and ball. She lights up and kicks her feet with excitement whenever daddy walks into the room. She has found her voice and has a very high pitched sounding squeal when she wants something. (a habit we need to break) She loves cheerios, eggs, and broccoli.

Our first real vacation away for a full 7 days away from the kids. I had major anxiety going into it however I was able to manage and forget my worries once we arrived in paradise. We had one of our 3 sitters cancel literally the week before (same day of Paige's party while trying to get that ready), got pulled over on the way to the airport, and when we arrived at the airport we found out our flights were not booked. Overall an amazing trip and by far the best food, service, and relaxing place.

The RED and WHITE game! We took the kids to their first red and white game and went to the carnival prior to. They rode their very first carnie rides and of course the one ride they wanted to go on the most was that one ride that makes you puke because all it does is go in circles. Fortunately they were all to short to ride. I found it really funny so I had them all post up next to the sign showing they were not tall enough.

Boo Faces because they could not ride
This next series just kind of sums it up. This is our attempt at a family shot. Notice not one child is looking at the camera, then you see me trying to coral for a shot of the big kids. We settled with a shot of them watching the game and it turned out to be my favorite.

I'm so proud of Richard he was awarded Norman next under 40 for his work accomplishments. This is at the banquet honoring the winners.
Easter Sunday we celebrated at church and then followed it up with an egg hunt at mimi's and big boys house. I dropped the ball and forgot to get an Easter basket from the bunny. Every Sunday after church we stop to look at the fish in a huge tank and we have to sit in the "little bench" prior to walking out. This is my attempt for the beginning of my Easter 2014 photos. During the week the kids had egg hunts at school so I prepped them prior to saying you don't stop to see whats inside your eggs you just grab and go. Remember don't stop just go and you can look at them later. I really didn't think it would stick however I found out later they had more eggs than any of the other kids in the class.

This shot is after a little bribe was offered. As you can see Dax took the bate.

10 Months

10 and 11 months

Paige is pulling up, coasting, standing, and has become a human vacuum. This child puts everything in her mouth! I mean everything, I guess I don't remember it since we always had it picked up but now we have two big kids dropping things for Paige to clean up. That's my biggest challenge right now. Happy baby loves to smile, giggle, laugh, and follow her brother and sister. She does not like mama holding anyone but her and gets really upset. I might have enabled this a bit but she's only a baby for 12 months and my child for a life time. She loves music and even gets her groove on to singing tigers. see below..

Blake and Dax are busy as ever and just enjoying life. Each day they have something new to say. Lately we hear "start your engines" a million times a day. Cars, trucks, trains, anything with wheels are driven on every piece of furniture, the walls, doors, anything. Blake has become very into princesses, dolls, and coloring. She loves it so much that she can sit for hours. Her art is very advanced for a toddler. I really believe she has an artistic gift.

We had play dates, saw the Lego movie, and had a great Valentine's day. The kids loved their special cards from daddy that they still carry them around.

This picture is one of my favorites because there is so much to be said and seen within. They love each other so much and are two peas in a pod but at the same time pick on each other all day long yet as soon as one leaves the room the other is looking intensely for the other. This is such an awnry pose but that love is so innocent and I just know they will protect one another some day.

I love Baby Expressions! She is so excited about getting into my dishwasher. Can you imagine what life would be like to get this excited to unload the dishes daily? I sure would like some of this....

The baby vacuum is at again....
